Many of us choose January to do a detox after the period of excesses of the holidays season. However traditionally in Chinese medicine this would be done in the Spring as it is seen as the start of a new cycle of energy leaving behind the stagnant winter and expelling the toxins that have built up and are no longer needed and releasing old energies that no longer serve us.
Lets look at it as a whole -
The average adult uses nine personal care products each day, containing 126 different chemicals. Simplifying this could be very life enhancing both in reducing the amount of chemicals you exposed yourself to and increasing money in your wallet!!
This also applies to your cleaning products consider making your own and reducing the amount of chemicals you're exposed to. This is an excellent affective surface kitchen/bathroom cleaner.

Our physical and emotional health are very linked and it is of great value to allow ourselves a little downtime to destress and our bodies to be at rest, give yourself the luxury of a little time every day. To fit this into your day here’s my tip - Whilst your shower is getting hot do it!!
